Duuuude.
Chilluns.
BUT FIRST, WATCH THIS.
I love pranks, I really really do. I do.
Back to the chilluns. I teach because YOLO. Basically teaching them how to swim it fun, at least in the beginning. I mean, it has all the makings of F.U.N. fun (f is for friends who do stuff together), but in the end, it can get real messy (metaphorically of course....figure THAT one out english teachers of past!).
Theon sucks anyways, heads up to my game of thrones peeps....
Like, I have this one boy who is just a blob, and i don't mean weight-wise. He literally doesn't move. at all. I'm not even completely sure he hears anything I say.
Me: "Kick, kick kick, kick, kick!"
Boy: *cricket cricket*
Me: "Splash the water! Make splashes!"
Boy: *One very tiny splash...stops*
Like, straight up not having it.
And then I have this one uber-enthusiastic kid, but he has this opinion that he can do everything by himself, and I promise you, he can't. And when I tell him to blow bubbles, he tries to swallow the water instead, and then spits out a huge booger. And when I ask him if he swallowed water he says 'no', I mean....
You know, if we all did this TR stylee, we wouldn't even need to know how to swim.
Yeah I don't know what I'm saying either, but I really needed to lead up to this picture.
Isn't he a badass?
Anyway, the worst part is when a parents watching, and sometimes the kids go underwater by accident, it happens! They can't swim and I just glance at the parents...
Closing Remarks:
Nigel of the Week: (IN HONOR OF THE SEASON FINALE OF GAME OF THRONES...watch it)
Songs!
BY the by, the Radiohead concert was amazazing. simple SUPERB. Thom Yorke was the bomb, and then last night, I had a dream that he was a professor at Lehigh. I mean, I know it's completely ridiculous, but in my dream it felt SO REAL. So in honor of that:
AND
and also for your listening pleasure:
